great information for the untutored in credit management and common sense. The only thing I would take exception to in your Fremont Toyota review is about financing thru the dealer. The consumer laws have changed significantly and we usually make more like $50-$200 on placing a loan and certainly NOT the $2K that used to be made on the back end of deals.

I was an engineer in Silicon Valley for about 30 years, but have sold Toyotas for the past 4 years and still am an Internet Sales Manager at Putnam Toyota in Burlingame.
